If you were waiting for the Big 3 to make their return, you’re in luck! Tonight, during Saturday Night’s Main Event, Nick Aldis made a surprise announcement: Bianca Belair has been added to the Jade Cargill vs. Naomi match taking place at WWE Evolution on Sunday, July 13.
But wasn’t Bianca out?
Yes, Belair has been out of action since April of this year, when she announced on an episode of SmackDown that due to an injury to her fingers after that WrestleMania 41 banger with Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley, she was unable to perform. (Apparently she walked into WrestleMania with broken fingers!) This will be her first appearance back in a WWE ring since then.
Wait, none of them were scheduled for Saturday Night’s Main Event, right?
That’s right; Jade Cargill happened to be in attendance—it is the Saturday Night’s Main Event before her big match at Evolution.

While Cargill was getting her props from the Atlanta crowd, Naomi emerged and attacked Cargill from behind, hoping to soften Cargill up for their epic battle on Sunday. To the surprise of no one, a brawl ensued.
To echo Wade Barrett, it’s truly been on-sight for these two for months, and in all fairness, Naomi was giving Cargill a receipt from her attack on SmackDown the night before! [Ed Note: …which was payback for the attack from the week prior, but we could do this all night, right?]
Aldis said that he wanted to speak with both Cargill and Naomi before making his decision, but then announced that the special guest referee would be Bianca Belair, which was met with a big pop.
What does any of this mean for Jade and Naomi’s match at Evolution?
It’s tough to say. Some feel like Belair should have turned heel already, and this is a great opportunity to start heeling on…somebody. You’d hate to have her steal Naomi’s well-crafted heel heat; with SummerSlam right around the corner, WWE has another interesting situation on their hands.
